Users of Sony's Xperia M2 and the dual-SIM variant Xperia M2 Dual can look out for Google's Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) OS update which is being rolled out to the smartphones.

According to the Xperia blog, Android 4.4.4 KitKat for the Xperia M2 (models D2303 and D2306 LTE) have started seeding, and users should notice the update with build number 18.3.1.C.0.21.

One major feature that the update brings along is a fix to the 'delayed audio' issue as noticed by Xperia blog. The sound delay issue was reportedly inherent within the previous Android KitKat build (18.3.C.0.40).

The full changelog of features brought along by Android 4.4.4 KitKat to users of Sony Xperia M2/M2 Dual hasn't been made official yet.

Sony's Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual originally ran the now legacy Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.
