An internal Samsung document has been leaked revealing the Android 4.4.4 update status for a number of Galaxy smartphone models.
While Google is prepping up for its next major Android release, a number of Samsung's high-end smartphones are still running the older KitKat software and are yet to receive the latest version.
The roadmap includes a total of 13 Galaxy models such as Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I and SM-G900F), Note 3, Galaxy Note 3 LTE, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 LTE, Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Galaxy S4 Mini Duos, S4 Mini, Galaxy Grand 2, Grand 2 Duos, Galaxy Note 2 and Note 2 LTE.
If the leak is to be trusted, then most of the aforementioned devices will receive Android 4.4.4 (with build number KTU84P) during the October and November timeframe.
The roadmap, revealing update breakdown further, shows the update for Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 3 and its LTE version has already been completed and the roll-out will start this month. The update is going through the final testing phase for Galaxy S4, S4 LTE and Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which will receive the update in November.
However, the status shows pending for rest of the devices but the roll-out has been slated for November.
