F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, who has been romantically linked to models Winnie Harlow and Barbara Palvin in the past week, was reportedly surprised to see them both attend the same event in New York on Friday (9 September). Reports suggest that it was an awkward moment when the two rumoured girlfriends came face-to-face at Harper's Bazaar party.

According to The Mirror, The Canadian model walked the red carpet along with her friend Travis Mills, while the Hungarian model attended the party alone. Harlow was dressed in a silver gown, while Palvin sported a white strapless dress with matching white heels.

Harlow has been linked with the Mercedes driver after they were spotted getting cosy on 6 September at New York's Up and Down nightclub. Hamilton was linked to Palvin after she was spotted leaving the hotel where Hamilton was staying on Thursday.

Harlow has shared a photo of the two from the party on Instagram. Previously, the 22-year-old model had joked about her rumoured romance with Hamilton. "Married & Divorced in a week apparently lol," Winnie said.

However, the 31-year-old driver's representative told MailOnline that Harlow and Hamilton are just "good friends".

Hamilton dated Nicole Scherzinger for seven years before parting ways in February 2015.

In May 2015, the songstress told People magazine that their relationship came to an end after the couple realised they had become too "comfortable" with each other.

"Sometimes people stay in relationships because they get complacent, because it's comfortable for them, because they don't want to be alone. It's a new chapter in my life. I'm going through a very transformative time in my life," she said.
