BTS is one of the most famous Korean bands since their inception in 2013. This group of boys will get a drama series based on them very soon. Big Hit Entertainment announced it in a presentation on Wednesday.

Co-CEOs Bang Shi Hyuk and Yoon Seok Joon, as well as beNX President Seo Woo Seok, were also present during the announcement. Be Hit Entertainment will produce the BTS show in partnership with Chorokbaem Media. The latter has previously given us popular TV dramas like "Memories of the Alhambra."

According to Soompi, the new BTS drama will focus on the lives of the seven boys and how they met. Big Hit has mentioned that they will cast actors for the drama and the original BTS members will not be playing any part in the series. The show will be released in the second half of 2020.

Big Hit said, "We are currently preparing a drama based on the BTS Universe with a famous Korean production studio. The goal is to launch it in the latter half of 2020."

They said that they will greet the fans via various media and genres. They will come up with webtoons, novels, games, animations, comic books, and dramas. They also said that they are planning on adding storylines of other artists from different labels along with BTS.

Before the series, there is another good news that needs to be shared, A BTS documentary named "Bring the Soul," will premiere on August 27 on the Big Hit social media app "Weverse."

Recently, we got the news that the BTS boys are going on a vacation for quite some time to give themselves a break from their hectic schedule. After their break, they are expected to woo our minds with many new songs.

They were touring all over the world to promote their record-breaking album, "Map of the Soul: Persona." They will resume their tour on October 26, and will continue till the 29th. They will be starting from King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia and concluding the tour at Seoul's Jamsil Olympic Stadium. So those of you who were very sad thinking that you all will be long detached from your favourite K-pop band, get ready with your light sticks!
