The theme of this year's Celebrity Big Brother house might be UK v US, but it looks as if the rivalry could be between two of the show's American contestants, if the past is anything to go by. Former Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham and model Tila Tequila were both revealed to be taking part in the show last night – but will they be able to live with each other after their public feud over a sex tape award just a few months ago?
Both adult film entertainers, Tequila beat out Abraham to the Best Celebrity Sex Tape accolade at AVN Adult Movie awards back in January, something that the 24-year-old expressed she didn't agree when she purposefully stood up just as the announcer was saying who the winner was. Tequila won for her film Tila Tequila 2: Backdoored and Squirting, while Abraham was nominated for Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
Upon realising what Abraham had done, Tequila retaliated that her opposition could have the award as she "clearly wanted it more" and she'd rather by known as a "mommy of the year" than for the AVN title. It's safe to say that the pair are not too fond of each other after their feud over the award, but perhaps the group will be just big enough that the two can remain distant from one another for the duration of the competition.
Other contestants that went into the house on Thursday night included Loose Women's Sherrie Hewson, Fatman Scoop, former porn star Jenna Jameson, The Apprentice's James Hill, presenter Gail Porter and former X Factor contestants Chloe Jasmine and Stevi Ritchie. They are also joined by Hollywood actor Daniel Baldwin, former The Bill star Chris Ellison and The A-List: New York's Austin Armacost. It has been confirmed that Janice Dickinson and Bobby Davro are two more housemates that will go into the house live on Channel 5 tonight.
With the already existing animosity, this year's group could be one of the most explosive yet, and it looks as though Abraham is already causing up a stir inside – not just with her expected rival Tequila, but rather Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton. The two came to blows just a few hours after entering the house following a challenge that saw the housemates hypothetically picking who they would not invite to a party by knocking down cardboard cut-outs of each other with a cannon.
Hamilton opted to leave out Abraham, commenting: "Farrah is not coming because she's a sore loser." Evidently unimpressed by the claim, Abraham retorted: "I was a happy loser," before screaming, "Party on, bitch! You know what I want to do with this f*****g water bottle? Hit a bitch." "No-one likes a bitch, love," Hamilton replied. Considering this spat happened just as they got into the house, fans' assumptions that the purposely divided house is going to be full of drama seems perfectly justified. The show will continue on Channel 5 tonight (28 August) at 9pm.
