Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is not planning to have a baby with boyfriend Liam Payne any time soon. The couple's relationship has been the focus of speculation ever since they went public with their new romance earlier this year.

And while Cheryl is known for her whirlwind relationships, the Crazy Stupid Love singer has said she is in 'no rush' to start a family. Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, a source close to the 32-year-old singer confirmed the reports were false. "Cheryl isn't in any rush to have babies and is bemused by people saying that is her plan with Liam. It is so wide off the mark," said the source.

The X Factor judge was believed to be trying for a baby with her estranged husband Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini. As their relationship unraveled in public, the French businessman appeared to hint at his desire to have children, posting a poignant image of a child. But in January Cheryl mocked the pregnancy rumours tweeting: "I'm happy to announce my exciting news. I will be delivering my first ... centre in Newcastle for young people."

While Cheryl is set to divorce for a second time, her relationship with the One Direction singer is going strong and despite the initial negative public reaction, the pair have reportedly taken their relationship to the next level, setting up home together in a multi-million Los Angeles mansion.

An insider told The Sun: "Cheryl and Liam are getting more serious by the day. They want to make the most of their time with each other before Cheryl has to go back to the UK, so it made sense for her to come and live with him. They are so happy together and head over heels."'

Earlier Cheryl confirmed she has quit The X Factorin order to focus on her music career. The star told MailOnline: "I have had such an amazing experience being a judge on The X Factor. I have learnt so much and enjoyed nurturing talent but I've missed making music and am excited to be recording again.

"I want to thank everybody I have worked with along the way, especially Simon who I love to bits. I hope the show continues to produce stars and I wish them all the best."

The music mogul told the Daily Mirror that he'd had a 'feeling for a long while' that Cheryl would quit the show, amidst reports of flagging ratings.

And while its another blow for the ailing show which faces a revamp, Cowell maintained his support for the singer. "Cheryl and myself spoke about this. I totally understand her commitment to making more records. She has been amazing on the show and in the near future we will be working on other things together."

Meanwhile, the singer today unfriended her husband of 18 months on her Instagram account. She had previously deleted images of him from her account and latterly the pair engaged in a public spat on the social media site. The Frenchman has responded by unfriending her back as their divorce proceedings drag on.
