USA Network's post apocalyptic drama Colony is slowly picking up pace with its lead couple Will and Katie Bowman secretly joining rival organisations with one goal – to find their lost son.
Episode 3 of the thriller series is titled 98 Seconds, which will focus on the characters Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies as they embark on the missions assigned to them by their mysterious organisations. But soon they will realise that the job is trickier than it appears. Katie, who joined the Resistance, the group which claims to protect people, will start doubting the intention of the organisation as it involves her husband.
Will, who joined the ruling group Collaborators, is still clueless about who is leaking his secret information to the Resistance. The show's executive producer Carlton Cuse had earlier teased that the secrets between the couple will remain for a few more episodes.
"For Will, he's caught trying to get out of the block and go find his kid. He's basically forced to collaborate with the occupation government to hunt down the resistance. If he doesn't do that, he and his family will get sent to a labor camp. He's got strong motivation to do what he does. Plus, he sees this as an incredible opportunity in a world where people don't know a lot," she told Hollywood Reporter.
The official synopsis of episode 3 reads: Katie's first mission forces her to question her commitment to the cause; Will's search for Geronimo doesn't sit well with the resistance; and Bram's girlfriend shares a secret with him.
Colony airs every Thursday on USA Network. In case you miss the episode during its airing time, click here to watch it live online on the network's official website.
The show is set in an alien invaded world where the "Hosts" have taken over the earth after their "Arrival". The show narrates the plight of the survivors who are barred from all pleasures in life. In order to control them with fear, many of their loved ones have been snatched away and sent to the Factory, a dreaded place rumoured to have similarities with places associated with the Holocaust.
However, the aliens do not appear before the public in person and rule the rest of humanity by bribing another set of survivors (known as the Collaborators) with facilities and offering them pleasures banned for the general public.
The couple Will and Katie take different paths by secretly being associated with the opposite groups to find their son who, they suspect, have been taken away to the Factory by the Collaborators.
