Dishonored 2 Emily Kaldwin
Emily Kaldwin has grown up, and she'll be a main character in Dishonored 2 Arkane Studios

Bethesda has revealed the big names joining the cast of Dishonored 2, including Sam Rockwell and stars from the Game of Thrones, Daredevil and The Wire. The move comes after the Arkane Studios sequel was set a release date for November this year.

A Game Informer article revealed the cast list, but weren't able to offer many details regarding who these characters are or what their roles will be in the game. Vincent D'Onofrio (Daredevil, Full Metal Jacket) gets top billing in the article and will play Luca Abele, Duke of Serkonos. Sam Rockwell (Moon, Galaxy Quest) will play Mortimer Ramsey of the Dunwall City Watch, and Rosario Dawson (Daredevil, Sin City) will play Meagan Foster – who is described as the "Dreadful Wale Captain".

Pedro Pascal (who famously got his head crushed in Game of Thrones last year) plays Howler Gang Leader Paolo, while James Hector (The Wire) will be Vice Overseer Liam Byrne and Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham's Penguin) plays a character called The Outsider.

Stephen Russell and Erica Luttrell – voiceover actors who both had roles in Bethesda's Fallout 4 – play protagonists Corvo Attano and Emily Kaldwin. The former was voiceless in the 2012 original, while Luttrell takes over from Chloe Grace Moretz, who played a much younger Emily in that game.

Arkane's original game also attracted a stellar cast, with Moretz, Susan Sarandon, Lena Headey, John Slattery and Michael Madsen all playing key roles.

Dishonored 2 will be released on 11 November for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
