Drake Goes Goth With Pinkchyu in FOMO After 'Goth Baddie' Made Him Bark and Won His Dating Show

Drake has turned a viral barking contest into a full goth transformation. The rapper reunited with '20 V 1' dating-show winner Pinkchyu inside his new short film, 'FOMO', trading his usual wardrobe for studs, chains and black eyeliner at her direction.

The segment, set to 'Princess' from Drake's May album Maid of Honour, serves as a visual for the song. It marks the pair's first major on-screen appearance together since Pinkchyu bested 19 other women for the rapper's attention on a Kick livestream in August.

From Barking Contestant to Goth Makeover Muse

Pinkchyu, whose real name is Lin Lamar, first met Drake during a NELK-produced '20 V 1' speed-dating special that streamed on Kick on 8 August 2026 to mark Stake casino's ninth anniversary.

During her one-on-one segment, the self-described 'goth baddie' asked Drake to bark like a dog, and he obliged, barking multiple times and yelling 'Arf, arf, arf'.

The moment quickly drew attention online. Lamar beat finalists Lena the Plug and Jordyn Lucas to win the competition, and asked for a house for her retired mother as her prize.

Drake later confirmed she could pick the listing herself and he would cover the purchase, according to comments Lamar gave to TMZ. The barking clip also revived an earlier remark from Drake, who said during a September 2025 appearance on Bobbi Althoff's podcast, 'Not This Again', that he felt his 'destiny' was to end up with a 'goth baddie'.

The comment circulated widely once Pinkchyu emerged as his final pick. He reportedly described his ideal partner in similarly specific terms during that same interview, according to Yahoo Entertainment.

Inside the 'Fomo' Segment

'FOMO' premiered on Tuesday, 15 September 2026, following a last-minute delay to its launch. Drake had teased the self-funded project as a story about, in his words, making the absolute most of it all in one summer, in a statement issued the day before release.

Inside the hour-long film, Pinkchyu guides Drake through a shopping-centre date that takes them to a Hot Topic. She walks him through successive outfits, starting with a grey graphic sweatshirt, moving to black graphic tees, and finishing in a fuller emo and goth ensemble of studded details, chains and dark clothing.

The two then continue their date through a night-time park walk, according to Complex's account of the sequence. The 'Princess' segment sits alongside a packed roster of cameos, including Sexyy Red, Winnie Harlow, adult performer Lena the Plug, Drake's mother Sandi Graham and NBA star Kevin Durant.

The film also folds in unreleased tracks, a rented-out Medieval Times set piece and an announcement of a 2027 tour. Notably, 'FOMO' did not remain publicly available on YouTube for long, with Drake later removing the full film from the platform, although clips continued to circulate among fans and streamers.

Pitchfork reported that Drake had taken the full 'FOMO' film down from YouTube, leaving viewers reliant on unofficial footage.

A Viral Summer Rollout, Now a Recurring Bit

The Pinkchyu storyline has not been limited to a single livestream or a single video. Days after the original broadcast, Lamar told TMZ that a separate, unnamed 'massive' musician had also sent her an audio message of himself barking like a dog, adding a second layer of virality to the original moment.

The episode also drew criticism from within hip-hop media. On the 'Brilliant Idiots' podcast, host Charlamagne Tha God questioned Drake's selection, asking on-air why he was barking at the Hot Topic chick.

Other commentators, including Wiz Khalifa, played down the criticism, with Khalifa calling the moment funny and saying he would have done the same. Despite the sustained attention, no party involved has confirmed a romantic relationship between Drake and Pinkchyu.

Pinkchyu's own comments indicate that she is currently single and focused on her professional opportunities, framing the 'FOMO' reunion as an extension of a viral entertainment moment rather than evidence of a confirmed pairing.
