The claim, which has circulated alongside theories about liposuction and changing fat distribution, has not been substantiated by public medical evidence, but recent images of Musk have fuelled renewed discussion about his appearance.

Recent Images Put Musk's Physique Back in Focus

The latest debate emerged after images of Musk during attention surrounding SpaceX's expansion in Louisiana prompted viewers to focus on his body shape.

One widely shared post questioned, 'What is wrong with Musk's body? These images captured from the video of his recent visit to the spaceport site in Louisiana.'

The discussion centred on the apparent change in Musk's silhouette. Some social media users argued that his abdomen appeared flatter than during periods when he was noticeably heavier, while more weight seemed visible around his chest and upper torso.

Those observations quickly revived theories that Musk may have undergone a procedure that altered his body shape.

The timing coincided with SpaceX's plans for Starbase Louisiana, a proposed $100 billion (£75.5 billion) launch complex in Vermilion Parish. SpaceX announced the project in August, with construction expected to begin in 2027 and the first launch targeted for 2029.

Alongside the images, a separate theory about Musk's physique gained attention after comments made during a podcast discussion.

One commentator claimed, 'He's taken so much testosterone that it's caused an estrogen deficiency.'
