England-fly half Toby Flood has quashed rumours he will leave Leicester Tigers after speculation regarding a possible move to Toulouse.

Tigers expressed their interest in keeping the 28-year-old and extending his five-year stay but Flood is waiting until January before he makes a decision.

In a tweet Flood wrote: "To confirm, I've not agreed to anything and as I've said before I will decide in January. Thanks."

Flood, who moved to Tigers from Newcastle Falcons in 2008, has been linked with French side Toulon but Toulouse are now favourites for the star signing.

A Rugby Football Union ruling prohibits foreign based-players from representing England ensuring a move to France would see the fly-half ruled out of England's Rugby World Cup 2015 campaign.
