It now appears that a European variant of recently launched Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A is expected soon.

Samsung, in the mid of June, introduced the LTE-A variant of Galaxy S5 featuring faster connectivity, processing speed and higher resolution screen. The handset was exclusive to South Korea on its launch but a European variant is also expected, suggests the specifications leak at GFXBench.

As per the listing at the site, the device will sport a 5.2in screen with resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels, which is said to be the final resolution unlike the South Korean Galaxy S5 LTE-A model, which offers 2560 x 1440 pixels.

The list notes a 16 megapixel rear camera for the LTE-A model, which could be 16 megapixel ISOCELL sensor, used in standard Galaxy S5 model. Besides, there will be a two megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear cameras capture full HD video, at 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The SM-G901 variant will use quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, clocked at 2.45GHZ, paired with Adreno 420 graphics unit. As the benchmark scores suggests, the Adreno 420 graphics unit is twice faster than Mali-T628 MP6 and Adreno 330, used in the original Galaxy S5. Besides, the European Galaxy S5 LTE-A model with Adreno 420 graphics unit will offer faster performance compared to the South Korean model.
