HTC has started rolling out the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update for the international version of HTC One in some parts of Europe.
With base firmware version 3.62.401.1, the latest Jelly Bean Over-The-Air (OTA) update weighs 675.48MB. It brings HTC Sense version 5.5, which debuted in company's large-screen smartphone, HTC One Max. This Android 4.3 update makes the international HTC One slightly ahead of the US and Canadian variants, which are getting Android 4.3 with Sense v5.0.
Android Central, who claims to have received the update in their own device, notes that the Android 4.3 is being pushed out to the unlocked version of handsets in Nordic countries. Besides, recognised XDA contributor, LlabTooFeR has also confirmed the update via Twitter and mentioned that the update is hitting in Russia and eastern parts of Europe as well.
The update is expected to become available in all other parts of Europe soon. Recently, HTC UK has confirmed via Twitter that the Android 4.3 for HTC One users in UK in three to five weeks.
As for new features, the Android 4.3 update brings a host of new features. Additionally, the HTC Sense 5.5 brings new features to BlinkFeed, including Google+, RSS and search support and the option to turn it off entirely. There is also a redesigned Gallery app with new video highlight tamplates and options.
