She was accused of appropriating black culture before but reality star Kylie Jenner is clearly not worried about the critics. Just weeks after being criticised for wearing her hair in cornrows the teen is once again sporting the 'black' hairstyle.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who is currently celebrating her 18th birthday in Mexico, showed off her new hairdo in a Snapchat video while another photo is circulating on Twitter. Just days before, the TV star was seen sporting a platinum blonde wig while partying with her friends and family in Los Angeles, making a dramatic departure from her trademark dark hair.

In July, The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg criticised Jenner for sporting the cornrows, claiming the youngster was "[appropriating] black features and culture". In a rant posted on Instagram, the actress said: "When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter [sic]."

Making reference to their mutual friend Jaden Smith, Jenner reportedly replied: "Mad if I don't, Mad if I do.... Go hang w Jaden or something [sic]." Pop star Justin Bieber then jumped into the argument to defend Jenner, telling his 66.3 million Twitter followers: "Guys leave her alone, we're all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope! I'm the first to know this. But saying she's being racist because she has her hair in braids is ridiculous."

The E! reality star is believed to be in Mexico with Rack City rapper Tyga and a group of friends including singer Pia Mia. Earlier in the week, Jenner was left speechless when Tyga, 25, gifted her with a $320,000 Ferrari 458 Italia outside the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood where she had celebrated her birthday.
