Singer Liam Payne has revealed details on how he scored Jennifer Lopez's phone number following an impromptu meeting at her house. The former One Direction star recalled the chance encounter on "Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp".

Liam Payne said someone introduced him to someone that knew the renowned actress, and asked if he wanted to come to her house. The singer obviously accepted the invite and visited what he called "the most gorgeous house" he has ever seen.

"It was the most gorgeous house I've ever seen and she came and met us at the door. We sat in this little studio shed in the back and I played her a load of songs and she started dancing and I was sat on the chair like: 'What the hell is wrong with my life?'," he told the host.

The 26-year-old bonded with Jennifer Lopez in her house and when he was leaving, she offered him her number, reports E! News. The "Familiar" singer said he saved the 50-year-old's number as "Jenny from the Block". Payne then revealed that he never ended up messaging the superstar.

"I can't be messaging J-Lo!," he argued.

The singer also discussed his relationship with new girlfriend Maya Henry, and confessed he is "happy". He was spotted holding hands with the 19-year-old model recently. As per reports, they reportedly met at a 1D concert four years ago.

"We're fairly happy at the moment. I'm just past the point of where I'm bothered or not. It's not worth my happiness; I'd just rather go out and do what I want. I've got nothing to hide," he added.

About their picture going viral, Payne said is someone takes a picture of them together, he couldn't do anything about it. But, it gave immense relief to him that his new girlfriend is relaxed about it and it it helps him relax too in such situations.
