Wilfried Zaha
Zaha will have the chance to impress during pre-season.

Wilfried Zaha has admitted his move at Manchester United has left him speechless with excitement as the winger takes off for the club's pre-season tour.

Zaha signed for United in January but was immediately loaned back to Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season. The England international now has the chance to show incoming manager David Moyes why Sir Alex Ferguson saw so much potential in his performances.

And with United now on their way to Bangkok for their pre-season tour which will take them as far as Australia, Zaha has revealed just how surreal the whole experience has been for him so far.

He told the United website: "I'm speechless really, I just never thought I'd have the chance to play with the likes of Rooney and to actually be sitting next to Giggs in the changing room. It's just a dream really."

Zaha has continually been linked with a possible loan move away from the club next season, with West Ham and Fulham both believed to be interested while Palace ruled out a second stint for the 20 year old.

Recent reports have suggested that Moyes will assess Zaha's performances over the pre-season tour before determining if the youngster can get regular game time for United over the next season.

"He'll travel with us on the tour now," Moyes told TalkSport. "I'll get a chance to have a look at him. He got a bit of extra time off after being away with England's Under-21s, but I'll take him away and have a look at him and see how he goes.

"This football club has a great record of producing young players and bringing young players into the team. Hopefully Wilfried can be one of those who we push forward."
