Meghan Markle - a royal bride-to-be? Actress's brother dishes on her anticipated wedding with Prince Harry

After the unprecedented statement released by the Kensington palace, there is absolutely no doubt that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seeing each other. In the light of this official seal on the otherwise secretive romance, speculations are rife and suggest that a royal wedding might be on the cards.

While members of the royalty are yet to give an official nod, Markle's brother already seems to be anticipating a "royal wedding" in the near future. According to the Suits actress's brother, Thomas Markle, the 35-year-old star deserves everything that she has achieved so far and the next in line is a grand nuptial with the ginger-haired Prince.

"I can absolutely picture a royal wedding," Thomas said in a recent interview for Grazia magazine (via The Sun) adding, "Meghan has worked so hard to get to where she is now, and to be able to meet someone who is compatible is every girl's dream. Who wouldn't want that?"

Markle's romance with the 32-year-old Prince recently came into the limelight, especially after receiving a royal confirmation in the form of a statement released by the Kensington Palace. In the shocking letter, Prince Harry brought to notice the "abuse" and "harassment" that his girlfriend has been subjected to following rumours of their relationship.

"Some of it has been hidden from the public– the nightly legal battles to keep defamatory stories out of papers; her mother having to struggle past photographers in order to get to her front door; the attempts of reporters and photographers to gain illegal entry to her home and the calls to police that followed; the substantial bribes offered by papers to her ex-boyfriend; the bombardment of nearly every friend, co-worker, and loved one in her life," the letter read.

However, despite the relentless media speculation and scrutiny, reports suggest that the raven-haired actress is keen on a future with the Prince. A friend close to Markle told the People magazine that she is "head over heels" for Harry and is "doing everything she can to make the relationship work."

"It's been an absolute fairy tale for Meghan," the friend said.
