Microsoft is rolling out a new firmware update featuring version 10.3.3304.0 for Band owners.

This update brings slight bump over the previous version 3213 incorporating general fixes and improvements released in June.

Microsoft is yet to update itssupport site with the new release which is still carrying the older firmware version, but expect usual fixes and optimisations with the new golfing and cycling abilities in this update, reports Windows Central.

When the firmware available for your Microsoft Band, it will be downloaded to your phone. You should get a message in the Microsoft Health app on phone notifying you about the availability of the firmware. Just tap Update now to send the update to your band.

If you have not purchased Microsoft's smart band yet, now is a good chance to grab one, as the company is offering discount for its fitness wearable in both UK and US. Consumers in the UK can now buy the wearable device at £159.99, which is £10 less than previous price. For those in the US, the fitness wearable now costs $179.99, a reduction of $20 than the usual price.
