Monaco's new royal couple, Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo, tied the knot for a second time in a week on 1 August in Italy. The newlyweds traveled to the Borromean Islands to exchange their "I dos".

According to the Daily Mail, the event was attended by hundreds of guests, including American songstress Lana Del Rey and her Italian boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini. Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini D'Adda also attended the wedding, wearing a black-and-white summer dress with yellow floral detailing.

The couple exchanged their religious vows on the remote Isolino di San Giovani. The reception, however, was held at Rocca di Borromeo di Angera overlooking Lake Maggiore, the Daily Mail reported.

The bride wore a beautiful white Grecian wedding gown on the day of the ceremony.

Hello! Magazine reported that Borromeo chose to wear a semi-sheer, white lace trimmed dress the night before the religious ceremony. Like her civil ceremony, the 29-year-old bride wore her hair down loose with a floral headpiece.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old groom wore a white shirt and trousers with slip on navy shoes in the pre-wedding bash, according to Hello!

Casiraghi and his new bride hosted a pre-wedding fete on 31 July at Rocca di Angera for their guests, including the royal's mother Princess Caroline, sister Charlotte, her partner Gad Elmaleh and the couple's young son Raphaël.

According to the Daily Mail, members of the public were barred from sailing within 500 meters of the extravagant celebrations, which continued until 2 August.
