Marquez was the fastest in both the training sessions in the 10 July practice at the 2015 German MotoGP at Sachsenring.

Overivew

Spanish star and Honda rider Marquez clocked at 1m 21.621s to finish Friday's session at the top as he was the fastest during the Free Practice 2. He was 0.119s ahead of the British Yamaha rider Bradley Smith, who clocked a top speed of 294 km/hr.

Ducati rider Andrea Iannone was third, while Jorge Lorenze finished the race in fourth spot, .265s from the top. Leader Valentino Rossi had a dismal performance, finishing the race in seventh spot, dropping down from second.

Stefan Bradl was out of the reckoning with a fractured scaphoid at Assen and was consecutively replaced by Claudio Corti. Karel Abraham's foot injury at Catalunya has kept him out of action and he will be replaced by Honda test rider Hiroshi Aoyama.
