Nancy Guthrie Case: 'Creepy' Driver Arrested After Circling Home 100 Times With Photo of Missing Mom
Driver arrested for suspicious activity near the Guthrie residence as the investigation continues.

The Nancy Guthrie case remains ongoing, and the last thing anyone would want to do is be near the property to avoid trouble. Unfortunately, an unnamed driver failed to consider that, and a strangely behaving individual was arrested for his creepy driving around the Tucson residence.
The strange activity of the creepy driver was spotted by media, with the driver allegedly driving 50 to 100 times around the area aboard a blue vehicle. He would stop to look at the memorial setup outside and allegedly had a photo of Savannah Guthrie's missing mother on his phone.
The man, whose identity has yet to be revealed, was eventually arrested by Pima County Sheriff's officers. The suspect was questioned for about 20 minutes. He was eventually arrested for DUI after failing a sobriety test.
FBI Pull-Out May Have Piqued Interest
Curiously, this man's actions came not long after the FBI pulled out most of their investigative team members. It is believed that the agency is entering the next phase of its investigation into the Nancy Guthrie case. Some investigators are expected to head back to Phoenix and continue to work on the case there, ABC News reported.
With another week set to end, authorities have yet to name suspects behind the case. Nancy Guthrie was abducted on 1 February, and law enforcement continue to work on gathered evidence.
The only thing authorities have to work with right now is digital materials, DNA, and tips received through the FBI tip line. The agency has logged over 750 tips as of 25 February.
In an effort to hopefully entice and fast-track any leads to the whereabouts of Nancy Guthrie, the financial incentives have been raised. The FBI is offering £74,000, while the Guthrie family vow to provide a £780,000 reward, as relayed by Savannah Guthrie through her Instagram account.
'We still believe in a miracle, we still believe that she can come home,' Savannah said. 'We also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone.'
New Video Footage, New Potential Lead
In the latest update on the Nancy Guthrie case, investigators are now checking new videos captured through a Ring doorbell camera. The camera is located about two miles from the Guthrie residence.
The video shows at least 12 vehicles passing by the Guthrie home from midnight to 6:00 a.m. on 1 February. Special attention has been given to the cars passing by at around 2:30 a.m., the time when Guthrie's pacemaker synced with her phone, according to a report by Fox News.
Thus far, there remains no clarity on whether any vehicle drove by the Guthrie residence multiple times during that window. No person or vehicle has been singled out or branded as suspicious.
With more than three weeks and counting and no suspects to show, the case of Nancy Guthrie has hardly made any breakthrough. Law enforcement may be exhausting efforts, and the tips they are getting are helpful. But right now, all the Guthrie family wants is to know the state of the 84-year-old or where she is right now.
