Mica Miller's Journal Reveals Disturbing Claim That Pastor Husband JP Miller Did 'Sexual' Acts With Baby Dolls

A disturbing detail from Mica Miller's private journal has resurfaced following the release of Netflix's Death of the Pastor's Wife, with a passage reportedly accusing her estranged husband, pastor John-Paul 'JP' Miller, of engaging in sexual acts involving baby dolls.

The allegation has added another unsettling layer to a case already marked by claims of coercive control, sexual abuse, surveillance and intimidation before Mica was found dead in North Carolina in April 2024.

Mica Miller's Journal Raises a Startling Allegation

Portions of Mica's journal have reportedly been released publicly, prompting renewed attention to one particularly disturbing entry involving baby dolls.

One social media post discussing the material stated: 'Portions of Mica Miller's journal have been released. In one section she accuses John-Paul Miller of having sex with baby dolls.'

Another post reacting to the journal entry asked: 'Did you guys read this list? What in the world are they talking about with the babydoll?'

The wording has fuelled intense online discussion because the allegation is presented as part of Mica's own private writings. However, the journal entry itself should be understood as an allegation and not independent proof that the alleged conduct occurred.

The material has emerged as viewers revisit Mica's relationship with JP through the Netflix documentary, which examines the circumstances surrounding her death and the years leading up to it.

Her Marriage Was Marked by Claims of Control

Mica's story had already raised serious questions about the relationship she shared with JP, who was 15 years older and was her pastor before they eventually married.

According to reporting surrounding the documentary, Mica met JP when she was 13 and later became involved in his church. The pair eventually began an affair while both were married before divorcing their respective spouses and marrying each other.

Friends and relatives later described a relationship in which Mica allegedly became increasingly isolated and controlled.

Her journals, messages, police records and other material featured in the documentary reportedly describe a pattern of behaviour involving intimidation, stalking and sexual coercion. The documentary also presents allegations that JP pressured Mica into unwanted sexual situations and used sex as another means of control.

Executive producer Alana Goldstein described the alleged pattern as a long process rather than a single incident, saying JP was allegedly trying to strip away Mica's freedom, independence and self-esteem.

The disturbing journal allegation involving baby dolls therefore appears within a much broader account of a marriage Mica's loved ones believed had become increasingly abusive.

Mica Was Trying To Leave Before Her Death

Mica filed for divorce shortly before her death and, according to people close to her, appeared hopeful about beginning a new chapter. Two days after JP was served with separation papers, Mica was found dead at Lumber River State Park in North Carolina.

She had called 911 before her death and asked whether authorities could trace her phone location. Her death was ultimately ruled a suicide.

Yet her family and friends remained troubled by what had happened. They pointed to allegations of stalking, tracking devices and the volatile breakdown of her marriage as reasons for continuing to question the circumstances surrounding her death.
