A 20‑year‑old OnlyFans creator named Nicole Pardo Molina — and widely followed online as 'La Nicholette' — has been found alive after being reported missing following an apparent abduction at gunpoint in Culiacán, Mexico. Mexican authorities confirmed last Saturday, 24 January, that the influencer had been located and is now safe, bringing an end to several days of intense concern from family, friends and followers.
The case had drawn significant attention online and from officials in both Mexico and the United States after surveillance footage emerged showing Molina being forced into a vehicle by armed men in a shopping mall parking lot. Law enforcement agencies had activated search protocols to locate her and investigate the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
Viral Footage Sparks Search
Molina was reported missing on 20 January 2026 after a video, widely shared on social media, appeared to show her being intercepted by two men and compelled into a white vehicle while in the Isla Musalá district of Culiacán.
The footage was captured on cameras from her distinctive lilac Tesla Cybertruck and quickly circulated online, prompting public alarm and the issuance of a missing persons alert.
In response, authorities in the Mexican state of Sinaloa activated the Alba Protocol, a rapid response mechanism used to locate women and girls reported missing and considered at risk; this system had not yet yielded results when the search began, but it helped coordinate the investigation.
Confirmation of Her Safety
On 24 January, the Fiscalía General del Estado de Sinaloa (Sinaloa Attorney General's Office) confirmed that Nicole Pardo Molina had been located alive and was no longer in danger. According to statements from officials and subsequent media reports, she has been returned to her family, is out of harm's way and was seen attending mass at El Salado in Culiacán, thanking all those in attendance for their support.
The authorities have not yet released details about the circumstances in which she was found or whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
While family members and supporters expressed relief at her safe recovery, questions remain about the motives behind the incident and whether organised criminal groups played a role. Some reporting has noted that cases of violence have surged in the region, and Mexico has seen numerous high‑profile abduction cases linked to criminal factions.
Online Fame and Fan Base
Molina had accumulated a substantial following on platforms such as Instagram and OnlyFans, with more than 180,000 followers praising her travel posts, creative content and personal brand. She also ran an online apparel store called Nicholette Shop, where she sold clothing and accessories, some referencing Mexican cultural figures and themes.
Investigation Continues
Despite the positive news about Molina's condition, authorities are continuing to investigate the reasons behind her abduction and locate those responsible. At this stage, no official motive has been confirmed, and Mexican law enforcement has not publicly attributed the incident to any specific cartel or criminal faction.
As of now, officials have urged caution against speculation and encouraged the public to allow the legal process to unfold, emphasising that Molina's well‑being is the priority while authorities continue their work.
