Pippa Middleton has launched her first book on party planning called Celebrate: A Year of British Festivities for Families and Friends, in London on 25 October.

The 29- year- old, younger sister of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wore a sleeveless tweed dress from one of Kate Middleton's favourite designers - Stella McCartney.

Pippa, who shot to fame as the royal bridesmaid of Kate, dazzled in her brown colored dress with a black patch on top and a black and white optical illusion pattern on zipped back. Pippa teamed her dress with a pair of black stilettos and completed her ensemble with her hair half tied artistically and half left loose.

About Celebrate

Celebrate is Pippa's first book on partying ideas which complies with her earlier experiences with the subject. Penguin Books, the publishers of the book, have reportedly paid £400,000 to the newbie author Pippa, who is also the editor of The Party Times, an online party magazine from Party Pieces, the UK's leading online party-supply company, founded in 1987.

Pippa Middleton also had some events organising experiences during her career at London-based events company Table Talk, for luxury brand and corporate companies as well as private parties.

"Celebrate by Pippa Middleton is a fully illustrated and beautifully designed book packed with recipes, crafts and inspirational ideas," a synopsis about the book on the Penguin Books' official website reads.

"Beginning with autumn and ending with summer, Celebrate is a one-stop guide to entertaining throughout the British year".

The book has many personal tips, favourite recipes and useful decorating ideas for day to day as well as festival parties including Christmas and Easter plus provides easy and affordable ideas for a successful celebration.

"Practical but full of fun, it guides readers through the planning stages to the events themselves, from Christmas and Easter to a show-stopping New Year's Eve and from children's parties, family birthdays, lazy weekend brunches and picnics on the beach to a quiet supper at home with friends."

Moreover, Pippa Middleton has also secured place for the knowledge quotient in her book as the Celebrate offers little-known facts and historical anecdotes for each occasion. The book is available for £25 and is a "cornucopia of information that is fascinating, inspiring and wonderfully accessible."
