Power season 4 is set to return in summer and this year the theme is redemption for James St Patrick (Omari Hardwick) who was arrested by Angela. The road ahead may not be a cake walk for the drug kingpin as apart from facing his old enemies, the police and the media, Ghost has to fight his inner self.
Jaime's life was turned upside down in season 3, when the love of his life, attorney Angela Valdes, arrested him on charges of murdering Greg Knox. The former drug lord will fight for redemption as he remains on the verge of losing everything — his friends, family and the club.
A clip released by Starz shows a handcuffed Jamie, who is visibly distraught, in court. He confronts Angela about his arrest for a crime he has not committed. "You really think I did this?" he asks his former girlfriend. "You are right Jamie, I know you did this" Angela replies remorselessly.
The official synopsis for the fourth season of Power reads: Power season four picks up on the heels of
James "Ghost" St Patrick's highly publicised arrest by his ex-girlfriend, Assistant US Attorney Angela Valdes, for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox — a crime he did not commit. Ghost can't outrun his past choices and mounting enemies this season, which threatens his freedom and his family's safety at every turn. His fight for redemption brings him face-to-face with the Feds, the media, new allies, and old foes. But the biggest obstacle for Ghost remains himself and his internal struggle between the man he wants to be and the one he really is.
But getting arrested on homicide charges is not the only thing Jamie is struggling with. His son Tariq is missing. Joe calls Tasha to inform her about Ghost's situation. Tasha finds it difficult to believe Angela is involved in her husband's arrest. It will be interesting to see who has kidnapped Tariq and how Ghost reacts when he learns the truth.
Will he be able to save himself and his son from the complicated situation? All the questions will be answered when Power season 4 returns on Starz on 7 July 2017.
