A royal expert claimed that Queen Elizabeth's granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, is reportedly set to marry her boyfriend maybe as early as spring or summer next year. The lucky man is French multi-millionaire Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

31-year-old Princess Beatrice is looking happy. Since she is ninth in line to the throne, she doesn't need to seek permission from the Queen to marry her boyfriend. However, both Princes William and Harry had to ask permission from their grandmother to marry their respective wives.

The princess is "set to marry multi-millionaire property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi as early as next spring," claims royal expert Ingrid Seaward, in an interview with The Sun. She said that she was informed by a family member of the impending wedding. "I think a wedding as early as next spring or summer is likely."

Beatrice looked happy as she was spotted with the Queen and her father, Prince Andrew in Balmoral. She had gone to the royal estate along with her family last week. The Queen and her granddaughter share a close bond.

The royal commentator said that maybe the family wanted to tell the Queen that Beatrice was engaged. "They have to find a gap in her diary before they name the day and this would have been the ideal opportunity to discuss it," Seaward added.

A royal source said that the princess's mother, Sarah Ferguson, is very excited for another York wedding in Windsor. The insider added that Beatrice is head over heels in love and wants to marry and start a family soon with Mozzi.

Beatrice and Mozzi have been dating for under a year now. Mozzi belongs to Italian nobility and his father, Alex, was an Olympic skier.

They couple have been seeing each other since the time when he was still sharing his London home with his ex-fiancée Dara. The 34-year-old and the princess hit-off instantly after meeting.

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were both impressed with the French business tycoon when they met him at the Bahrain Grand Prix in April.

Beatrice and Mozzi attended their first wedding together and stayed at one of his family homes in Tuscany in July. The couple also enjoyed time off at Mozzi's family home in Kenya at the beginning of the year.
