Sexy images have been released of multiplatinum singing sensation Rihanna modelling as the new face and body of Armani's autumn/winter underwear and jeans campaign.

Rihanna was announced as the global new face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans in July.

The Barbados-born singer has not only triumphed in the pop music world, but also in fashion capturing the attention of many established designer brands, Armani now being one of them.

The campaign, shot in New York by photographer Steven Klein, sees Rihanna posing seductively in a number of sultry lingerie pieces in the back of a vintage car.

Although the singer no doubt looks sexy, what is debatable is the new boyish blonde crop she is seen sporting, which makes a change from her usual long luscious locks.

Speaking of the campaign, the singer said:

''I realized that I actually like my body, I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don't want to get rid of the curves. My body is comfortable, and it's not unhealthy, so I'm going to rock with it."

Rihanna follows in the footsteps of former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who has also modelled underwear for the label along with husband David for the men's campaign.
