Romeo and Cruz Beckham have appeared to take a swipe at their older brother, Brooklyn, following his scathing public remarks about their parents, David and Victoria Beckham. In a since-deleted TikTok video, Cruz shared footage of himself with Romeo and their respective girlfriends in Paris, conspicuously excluding Brooklyn and captioning the post: 'Imagine hating and we're just here like.'

The post comes after Brooklyn released a lengthy statement last week, accusing his parents of being 'controlling' and using his siblings against him. Brooklyn claimed that 'even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer', and sent his parents a cease and desist letter demanding they only contact him through his lawyers. The public rift has moved beyond speculation, with each party using social media to signal allegiances in an increasingly bitter family dispute.

The TikTok Swipe

In a move that many onlookers interpreted as a direct jab at their eldest brother, Cruz recently shared a TikTok video that appeared to celebrate the existing family bond. The now-deleted post featured Cruz alongside Romeo and their girlfriends, Jackie Apostel and Kim Turnbull, during a night out in Paris.

The absence of Brooklyn was conspicuous, and fans viewed the video's lighthearted tone as a calculated contrast to the heavy atmosphere surrounding recent family statements. The clip quickly gained traction, with followers noting that the timing seemed specifically designed to undermine Brooklyn's recent narrative of isolation.

By highlighting their closeness with their girlfriends and each other, Romeo and Cruz appeared to be signalling that the family circle remains intact, even if Brooklyn has opted out.

Allegations of Blocking and the Gaga Response

The family tension escalated in December when Cruz publicly defended their parents against allegations that they had unfollowed Brooklyn on social media. Cruz explained that it was actually Brooklyn who blocked them, effectively cutting off communication lines.

The revelation confirmed years-long rumours that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, had a falling-out with the Beckhams. It also offered a clearer picture of the 'parents versus son' narrative and its complexity.

Brooklyn responded to Cruz's post with a cryptic yet pointed message. He shared a TikTok video of himself keeping busy while Lady Gaga's 'Telephone', a song about not answering calls or engaging with unwanted contact, played in the background. Many interpreted this as a silent confirmation that he was indeed limiting access to his life.

The use of the track, which includes lyrics about being 'busy', served as a defiant response to his younger brother's claims.

Brooklyn Claims Siblings Were Used Against Him

In his lengthy statement last week, Brooklyn accused David and Victoria of being 'controlling' parents who cared more about their brand than their children. He also alleged that his parents used his siblings against him.

'Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I've received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders,' Brooklyn wrote. 'Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer.'

Brooklyn made clear that his wife is his priority. He claimed the Beckhams had repeatedly disrespected Peltz and that he had no intention of reconciling with them, according to The Sun.
