It was a virtual stampede at Selfridges on London's Oxford Street when it opened for the traditional Boxing Day business.
Shoppers queued up for hours braving sub-zero temperatures for the facility, which boasts unique art installations, pop-up shops and the world's largest shoe department and denim wall, to open. And finally when it opened around 0900, the big wave of shoppers rushed inside to grab the first and finest bargains for the day.
