A fake news story claiming that Kurt Sutter is coming up with a Sons of Anarchy movie in which Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt will play the iconic character of Jax Teller has gone viral on social media.

Satirical website Empire News published a news article claiming that the biker drama will be made into a major motion picture with Pitt and Charlie Hunnam in the lead roles.

Meanwhile, Sutter has made it clear that he is not making any movie on the cult classic series and tweeted saying, "I am so pleased to announce Puns of Anarchy".

The Empire News is a fake news website which never publishes real stories.

The fake report reads:

Sutter, who was also a writer, producer, and director on the series, said in an interview with Hollywood Today magazine that he has long contemplated taking S.O.A. to the big screen following its run on television. "People absolutely loved the show, as did I, and I have put a lot of thought into the matter, and we are going forward with turning it into a feature film" Sutter said.

Sons of Anarchy ran for seven seasons on FX, from 2008-2014, and in the process built a huge following. Sutter said the film will star Charlie Hunnam, who played the lead character Jax Teller, as well as Ryan Hurst who played Opie Winston, and Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller. The film, which is a prequel to the storyline of Sons will also introduce fans to Jax's father, John, who will be played by Brad Pitt.

Several fake stories have emerged after the show ended its final ride on 9 December this year. Earlier, there were reports that the show will have a sequel featuring the life of Abel and his brother Thomas after they escape from Charming with their mother Wendy and Jax's friend Nero.

Sons of Anarchy recently ended its glorious journey that has kept fans entertained for seven long years.

The final scene of the Kurt Sutter created series is still fresh in fans' minds. They miss their favourite show in which their beloved character Jax Teller sacrificed his life, delivering a perfect ending to the highly popular biker drama by FX network.
