Tom Brady, Logan Paul Feud Explained: NFL Legend Ignites WWE Spat After Labelling Wrestler's Career 'Very Cute'
Tom Brady and Logan Paul's feud ignited after Brady branded WWE 'very cute' on the Impaulsive podcast, triggering a social media war and a WWE locker room backlash ahead of their Saudi Arabia flag football clash.

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady and WWE star Logan Paul found themselves locked in an increasingly public feud this February, after a combative appearance on Paul's podcast Impaulsive, recorded on Feb. 10, drew battle lines online ahead of their shared involvement in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 21.
The news followed confirmation that both men would participate in the same flag football event, a crossover occasion presumably intended to generate goodwill between sport's mainstream and its celebrity orbit, but it produced considerably more intrigue.
The trouble began when Brady, asked to weigh in on Paul's athletic pedigree, declined to be generous. 'I'm actually a little worried for you because you're a good athlete, but these guys are on another level,' he said on the podcast. Paul pushed back, pointing to his WWE career and high school football record as evidence that he was not to be underestimated.
Brady was having none of it. 'No, you're not the level,' he replied flatly. 'You're a good athlete, but when I'm thinking of Saquon Barkley, Odell Beckham, Justin Jefferson... it's cute. I love WWE, it's very cute, but this is like real football, this is real competition.' That single word 'cute' would prove costly.

Tom Brady and Logan Paul Feud Escalates Beyond Podcast
Paul's counter-argument went beyond wounded pride. He noted, with some justification, that Saquon Barkley could not perform a moonsault off the top rope and reminded Brady that he had been an all-state linebacker in high school, rushing for 1,200 yards and scoring 19 touchdowns in his senior year. Brady dismissed all of it as irrelevant.
'Look, we all had our great paths. I won seven Super Bowls... you know what matters? This game... I'm glad you're finally going to participate in a contest that matters,' he said. Paul's retort was sharp and succinct. 'This guy's insane. The audacity of Tom Brady. I can't believe it.'
After the clip spread across social media, Brady took to X and did not soften his stance. He declared that anyone on his team for the flag football game would be 'locked in, all out' with the intention not merely to win 'but dominate.' He offered Paul a measured compliment, saying the influencer 'has the right attitude and the effort will be there,' before noting that how far effort alone would take him 'remained to be seen.' Minutes later, he reposted his own message with a single line, 'I was having a great morning and now I'm mad.'
pic.twitter.com/wbvSXuX37P I hope people understand the level of competition this game is going to be. If you’re on my team you’re going to be locked in, all out, and we’re going to not just win... but dominate.

Paul responded in kind, posting footage of himself performing football drills including a recreation of Barkley's backwards hurdle jump, then releasing a video compilation of his WWE highlights with the caption 'The NFL is cute @TomBrady.' On a subsequent episode of his own podcast, he went further still, claiming he would outperform Brady 'athletically against one another in a majority of sports,' and making the pointed observation that most NFL players placed in a boxing ring against professional fighters would be thoroughly dismantled. He did, however, concede the broader point with a degree of maturity that the earlier exchanges had somewhat lacked. 'Every sport, at the highest level, takes an insane level of dedication and specificity and skill set that you can't quite translate or copy and paste one into the other,' Paul said — arguably the most reasonable thing either man offered throughout the entire exchange.
WWE Responds to Brady as Stars Defend Sport
Brady's 'very cute' remark did not sit quietly inside the WWE locker room. At the WWE 2K Creator Fest, a string of prominent wrestlers stepped forward to make their feelings known. World Heavyweight champion CM Punk kept his response dry saying, 'What's wrong with cute? I'm cute, Tom.'
Drew McIntyre was blunter, saying the comment 'comes from a place of ignorance.' Former two-time NXT champion Oba Femi went further, challenging Brady to endure the physical demands of professional wrestling training before passing judgement.

Paul Heyman, Paul's manager and one of wrestling's most reliably theatrical voices, aimed at Brady's pride from a different direction entirely. 'If @TomBrady thinks @NikkiGlaser ripped him up at the Roast, he has no idea what @LoganPaul and I would do to him on the mic in front of a live @WWE audience on @Netflix!' he wrote on X. Heyman was equally caustic about Brady's broader legacy, questioning how much credit the quarterback truly deserves, and suggesting that Rob Gronkowski, Bill Belichick and Belichick's girlfriend might be more deserving of the acclaim.
