UK Police Probe Claims Epstein Trafficked Women on Flights Through Stansted Airport
Investigation follows release of Epstein files revealing use of UK airports

The British police admitted they are probing Jeffrey Epstein's links to Britain following former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown's statement last week saying that Epstein files released in the US revealed how the convicted sex offender used London's Stansted airport in dozens of flights to traffic girls from Russia, Lithuania, and Latvia.
According to sources, UK police are intent on investigating fairly and objectively, particularly since the documents link Epstein to high-profile individuals. Up to four British police forces are confirmed to be looking into the claims to determine the necessity of criminal investigations, per The Guardian.
The police forces involved include Thames Valley Police, Surrey Police, and the Metropolitan Police. Peter Mandelson is currently under investigation after being accused of relaying information to Jeffrey Epstein while working as a minister for the Labour government.
Meanwhile, sources say Bedfordshire's police force is looking into claims that link Luton airport to Epstein's women trafficking.
A police spokesperson said on Tuesday, 'We are assessing the information that has emerged in relation to private flights into and out of Stansted airport following the publication of the US DoJ (Department of Justice) Epstein files.'
Epstein Files Prompt Police to Investigate
According to Brown, the Epstein files revealed his jet made 90 flights to or from airports in the UK. 15 of these flights occurred after his conviction in 2008 for soliciting prostitution from a child. Epstein reportedly bragged about the low airport charges at Stansted, in comparison with a Paris airport.
He also referred to Stansted airport as where 'women were transferred from one Epstein plane to another,' stating that the women who arrived in the UK on Epstein's private planes were not required to secure British visas.
Brown reiterated that evidence released by BBC showing 'incomplete flight logs, with unnamed passengers' showed authorities had no idea what was going on. The passengers were simply named as 'female.'
According to a Stansted airport spokesperson, 'All private aircraft at London Stansted operate through independent fixed base operators, which handle all aspects of private and corporate aviation in line with regulatory requirements.'
The Epstein files suggest women were trafficked in and out of the U.K. on his private jets through Stansted Airport.

The spokesperson also said, 'All immigration and customs checks for passengers arriving on private aircraft are carried out directly by Border Force. They use entirely independent terminals not operated by London Stansted, and no private jet passengers enter the main airport terminal.' He said that Stansted airport personnel are not privy to arrangements made by passengers of private aircraft.
National Task Force in Effect
Gordon Brown said, demanding a full investigation, 'I have asked the Met urgently to re-examine their decision-making in their investigation and the subsequent reviews.'
The National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) confirmed that a national task force is currently in place to 'support a small number of forces assessing allegations that have emerged following the publication of the US DoJ Epstein files,' according to a spokesperson.
The spokesperson also said, 'We continue to work collaboratively to assess the details being made public to allow us to understand any potential impact arising from the millions of documents that have been published. We continue to support our partners and contribute in any way we can to help secure justice for victims and survivors, and urge anyone who needs support to visit whenyouareready.co.uk.'
