The wedding of Liz and Tom ended up with a shocking plot twist where Solomon's men attacked them at the chapel. However, the couple managed to escape from the fight scene but soon Liz's situation turned critical. She was shifted to a makeshift ICU, where she gives birth to a girl after a caesarean section, but sadly succumbs to post-birth complications.

However, fans of the crime thriller by NBC are not willing to accept that the Liz has been killed off on the show. She has been the most loved character and there are speculations that Red may have cooked up a plan to fake her death to keep her and her child safe.

Moreover, he was not happy with Liz and Tom's marriage as he never fully trusted the former school teacher. So, do you think he could have taken Liz away and hid her someplace to protect her from Tom? We can only keep guessing.

Now coming back to Red, it seems like he'll continue to remain in danger with many seeking revenge for the numerous spies and drug lords and underworld dons he has taken down. In Ask Ausiello's spoiler guide, TV Line hinted that James Spader's character will be in deep trouble in the finale.

The promo of the upcoming instalment reveals a devastated Red, who confesses to Tom that he was given a choice to save either the mother or the child and he chose to save the child as both were "doomed and dying".

The season 3 finale is titled Alexander Kirk, which will introduce a long time nemesis of Red played by Ulrich Thomsen. "Red will experience a betrayal at the hands of someone very unexpected," the spoiler report claims.

Blacklist season 3 airs on Thursday 21 April at 9pm EST on NBC network.
