A promo for the episode opens with Frank trying to agitate Mike as he says, "Don't you want to take a look at some of the pictures your fiancee sent you?" Hearing this, the latter loses control and punches him.
The scene then changes to Frank speaking with Harvey about Mike. "The guy who is in here for you, isn't coming out!" he says, but a confident Harvey replies, "You think I can't hurt you in here?"

A bruised Mike calls Harvey from prison and tells him that he doesn't stand a chance in there. Elsewhere, Mike's fiancee, Rachel also lashes out at Harvey. "If something happens to him in there, I will never forgive you," she says.

As if the situation is not bad enough, things turn worse for the new convict. He gets cornered by a group of inmates and the promo ends on a cliffhanger with Mike shouting out as Frank comes at him with a knife. Can Harvey save Mike? Will Mike get stabbed? Watch the episode to find out.

Creator Aaron Korsh spoke about Mike's new enemy in prison, and how they came up with the character. He told Hollywood Reporter, "I had an original idea that Mike should be in there with someone who is causing him trouble, and one of the writers came up with the idea that the guy giving Mike problems was someone Harvey had put in there. As soon as that was pitched, that became our framework for the year. It's sort of about them dealing with this problem and then from there we give a lot of solutions and complications and take it from there."
