A woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after three men were found stabbed in north Belfast has been released on bail.
Police were called to a property in the York Park area at 12.45am on Saturday (25 November) following reports of a disturbance.
They found a man in his twenties inside with stab wounds.
Two other men who had been stabbed were found near retail premises in Shore Road. One had stab wounds to his neck, while the other reportedly suffered a head injury.
The three men are all said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
"One man underwent surgery in hospital for abdominal injuries and the other suffered a head injury and stab wounds to his neck," Detective Inspector Thornton said.
A 20-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. She was released on bail pending further enquiries.
"We would like to hear from anyone who was in the York Park area between 12.15am and 1.15am this morning and saw anything that could help us with our investigation," Thornton said. "Alternatively, information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
