The WWE Battleground 2016 pay-per-view (PPV) aired live from Verizon Center, Washington DC on 24 July. The event saw some exciting matches between wrestlers, who in the future may never get another chance to square off against one another as the recently announced draft for Raw and SmackDown Live has divided the superstars exclusively for these two shows.

Despite the exciting line-up of matches not even a single title change took place.
