Andy Murray takes on Grigor Dimitrov in the men's singles fourth round of the 2016 US Open on Tuesday (6 September).

Where to watch live

The match starts at 12am BST (Early Tuesday morning). Live coverage of the game will be available in the UK on British Eurosport & Eurosport HD. Live scores and regular updates will be available on US Open's official website.

Overview

World number two Andy Murray who had a fairly straightforward first two rounds in the ongoing US Open, was given a scare by Italian Paolo Lorenzi in the third round on Saturday. Murray eventually won 7-6, 5-7, 6-2, 6-3, but did not look his best, struggling particularly with his serve. His first-serve percentage dropped as low as 21% at one point and he also made 63 unforced errors.

That the game took three hours and 17 minutes was due to Murray's uncharacteristically poor performance, as he did not look comfortable at all. On the positive side, the Scot did win the clash and will be happy to get a bad game out of his system.

He comes into this clash as the favourite and is expected to have no problems reaching the quarter final stage.

His opponent, Grigor Dimitrov, is having something of a resurgence in his career after partnering with former Murray coach Dani Vallverdu. The year 2016 has seen the Bulgarian finish as runner-up in both Sydney and Istanbul, and a little unlucky not to win a title.

Dimitrov has regressed since his breakthrough season in 2014 but is not to be taken lightly considering he has beaten Murray thrice in the past, with his most recent win coming in Miami Masters earlier this year.
