Bayern Munich will take on FC Porto in the second leg Champions League quarter final clash at Allianz Arena on 21 April.

Where to Watch Live

Kick-off is at 7.45pm BST. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 1 HD, Sky Sports 5 and Sky Sports 5 HD.

Overview

Bayern suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Porto in the first leg in Portugal. Ricardo Quaresma was on target on two occasions as he scored a brace in the first 10 minutes. Former Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara scored one for Bayern.

That was not sufficient for the Bundesliga winners to avoid defeat and Porto added more misery after Jackson Martinez netted the ball in the second half. Pep Guardiola's side have been hit with an injury crisis as the Spaniard will be without four to five key players.

The Bayern manager will have a tough task on his hands in order to overturn the first leg deficit in order to help his side seal a place in the semifinal of the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Porto are high on confidence after their first leg victory and the Portuguese outfit will be looking to score first against the German outfit on Tuesday. They are on a four-match winning streak and Julen Lopetegui will be hoping to keep that record intact.

Porto will be hoping to make a statement by eliminating Bayern, one of the firm favourites of the competition.

What Managers Say

Pep Guardiola: "I do not know who will play or who can play. In the past months, I always decided on my lineup an hour before the game. Bastian Schweinsteiger will today train again for the first time and the more players I have the better."

Julen Lopetegui: "It [the second leg next week] will be a very difficult match, we are still half through this round, against one of the greatest teams in Bayern history. Playing against Bayern is always difficult, but we made a great start in the match against the greatest team in the world in terms of possession."
