Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's extended vacation in Europe with their three kids – Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel – have led to rumours about the couple getting back together. However, recent reports suggest otherwise.

A source close to the 44-year-old actress told People Magazine that the two are not reconciling and would go ahead with their divorce proceedings. "She seems adamant about going through with it [divorce]," a close friend of Garner said.

The actress is back in Los Angeles and is preparing her children for the end of school, while Affleck has returned to London to continue filming Warner Brothers' Justice League.

"[Garner] denies that she is back with Ben. She actually almost laughs when asked," the source continued. The couple filed for divorce in June 2015.

"[She] doesn't seem to mind at all that it's not finalized," the insider added. Previously, a report in Us Weekly claimed that Affleck and Garner's relationship was "mended" and that they were in a good place.

The magazine quoted a source as saying, "A lot of the damage in their relationship has been mended. They're in a really good place. Jen would get back together with him."

Earlier, Garner had opened up to Vanity Fair about her divorce with Affleck. She said: "It was a real marriage. It wasn't for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work."

She revealed that she did not regret marrying Affleck. "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision. I ran down the beach to him, and I would again. You can't have these three babies and so much of what we had. He's the love of my life," Garner explained.
