Bryce Hall is facing a felony domestic violence charge in Las Vegas after an alleged dispute involving his ex-girlfriend. His representative has denied the claims as an old breakup video in which Hall said the split 'wasn't pretty' resurfaced.

Hall faces one felony count of coercion constituting domestic violence with the threat or use of physical force, alongside a misdemeanor count of first-offence domestic battery. The alleged incident took place on 27 July, two days after Hall publicly announced his split from Maria Palafox, known online as Mika Lafuente.

Bryce Hall's Domestic Violence Case

According to TMZ, prosecutors filed the charges on 28 August and a judge issued an arrest warrant on 10 September. Hall was subsequently arrested in Las Vegas and released without posting bail.

Court records indicate that a release order was entered on 12 September, with Hall ordered to stay away from Palafox while the case proceeds. The 27-year-old TikTok star was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, 13 October.

The allegations have not been established in court, and Hall has not been convicted of either offence. Hall's representative denied the allegations, saying, 'These allegations are false, and we look forward to the facts coming out in court.' The representative also said legal action would be pursued against those accused of spreading false and defamatory claims.

Hall rose to prominence through the Sway House creator collective and has built a following of more than 22.8 million on TikTok.

Mika Lafuente's Allegations

Palafox reportedly told police that she had documented injuries she alleges were caused by Hall. The claims have not been independently verified, and Hall's representative has denied them.

The couple had reportedly been together for about two years before their split. Their breakup is now drawing renewed attention following the resurfacing of Hall's announcement video.

Hall has also faced legal allegations in the past. In 2021, he was sued by the owner of a Los Angeles restaurant following an altercation.

The lawsuit accused Hall of battery, assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and engaging in acts of violence allegedly motivated by race, national origin, citizenship, immigration status, and primary language. In November 2025, Hall said he had settled the lawsuit for $400,000 (£300,000), while continuing to deny the allegations.

Bryce Hall 'Wasn't Pretty' Breakup Video

In an Instagram video shared on 25 July, two days before the alleged incident, Hall announced that he and Mika had broken up and said she had moved out of his home. 'Me and Mika broke up. This is not a joke. We're no longer a couple. She just moved out of my house,' Hall said.

He went on to describe the split as one that 'wasn't pretty', while declining to explain why they had broken up. 'It wasn't pretty, as you could probably guess, because she's not in this video explaining with me on why we broke up,' he said. Hall added that he wished Palafox the best before making a joking remark about only 'shad[ing]' her if she dated another man.

The timing of the video has prompted renewed interest because the alleged domestic violence incident is said to have occurred two days later. However, Hall's comments about the breakup do not establish what happened during the alleged incident.

The case remains pending, with the charges representing allegations rather than findings of guilt.
