Kristen Stewart made her much-awaited red carpet appearance on the tenth day of the Cannes Film Festival 2014.

The Twilight Saga star made heads turn as she walked the aisle for the screening of the film, Sils Maria (Clouds of Sils Maria) in competition at the 67th Cannes Film Festival.

Stewart opted for a glittery jumpsuit to grace the event where wearing gowns is the most common norm among the actresses.

The 24-year-old actress dolled herself up in an all-sequined silver and pale pink jumpsuit featuring bands around the waist and ankles. She teamed her ensemble with nude pointed-toe pumps and completed her look by making her red tresses in soft curls and pushed over one shoulder.

Kristen Stewart, who plays Valentine in her upcoming film, Clouds of Sils Maria, attended the film's premiere along with other cast members, Juliette Binoche and Chloe Grace Moretz as well as with the film's director, Olivier Assayas.

As reported earlier, Kristen Stewart was not joined by Robert Pattinson at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.

Pattinson, who separated from Stewart in 2012 after being in a relationship for four years, attended the premiere of his films, Rover and Map to the Stars, on 18 and 19 May at Cannes.

"Kristen and Rob will not see each other at Cannes. Their films are screening far apart from each other," an insider said.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's relationship hit rock bottom when Stewart was confirmed of having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, while she was still Pattinson's girlfriend.

Later, she issued a public apology to Pattinson, saying: "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected."

"This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said.
