Charlie Kirk Shooting Footage Shows Staffer Filming Selfie Instead of Helping
Candace Owens claims the FBI is withholding video evidence of a woman seen with the shooter

The newly released video of the Charlie Kirk shooting is igniting furious debate. It's not the violence itself that's causing the uproar, but rather a chilling detail captured right after. A political staffer was apparently seen recording a selfie video instead of immediately providing help to the critically wounded Kirk.
A recently distributed clip captures an employee of Turning Point USA hurrying to record a self-portrait on their phone immediately after the organisation's creator, the conservative figure Charlie Kirk, sustained a gunshot wound.
This visual evidence has provoked intense public condemnation and prompted inquiries regarding how others at the scene acted in the aftermath of the event.
Staffer Caught on Camera Filming Selfie
The footage, shared on X by the account 'Shadow of Ezra' (@ShadowofEzra), shows Terryl Farnsworth, who works closely with Kirk, seemingly focusing on recording a video rather than attending to the injured campaigner.
The X post caption described the scene. 'Candace Owens released footage showing Turning Point USA staffer Terryl Farnsworth rushing to film a selfie video moments after Charlie Kirk was shot, prematurely declaring him dead.'

The short film documents the disorderly scene right after the gunfire. A person can be clearly heard screaming, 'They just shot Charlie. They just shot Charlie. They just shot Charlie. God. Help him'. Towards the end of the recording, Farnsworth makes the announcement that 'he's dead'.
Inquiries Regarding Security Actions
The occurrence also drew focus because Farnsworth, as noted in the X post, was 'the individual who removed the overhead cameras just minutes after Charlie was shot'.
Those watching have questioned whether substantial evidence was jeopardised, considering that recordings from the observation equipment might have offered further light on the circumstances of the gunfire.
Turning Point USA, the right-wing nonprofit group founded by Kirk, has remained silent since the clip circulated. Candace Owens, a conservative broadcaster and supporter of Kirk, widely distributed the clip, presenting it as evidence of poor handling and neglect during a moment of extreme danger.
Public Response Online
Users of social media reacted promptly to the film, many condemning Farnsworth's behaviour. One person on X commented, 'Yeah okay, someone you know very well gets shot and you decide a selfie is a must....because it's all about you. SMH'.
Others wondered whether the recording might damage Turning Point USA's public reputation and affect its internal guidelines for handling urgent situations.

Despite the confusion, some individuals defended Farnsworth, suggesting that periods of intense pressure can trigger actions that are difficult to predict. Nonetheless, this visual evidence has increased examination of the security and safety arrangements at public gatherings featuring prominent personalities.
Explosive Claims: Owens Challenges the Official Narrative
Beyond the controversy surrounding the staffer, the release of the video paved the way for a separate, explosive claim by Owens about the investigation itself.
Following the shocking allegation that Tyler Robinson was set up to take the fall as Kirk's shooter, Owens asserted that the FBI withheld security camera film. This footage, she stated, came to her from a source who maintained the actual gunman was observed alongside a female companion, possibly an accomplice.
Owens previously said she lacked proof for her statement, but now she claims she does, after a user on Instagram, '@Shanerinthehouse', posted a recording in which people present at the scene unintentionally disclosed the existence of a woman.
'What the heck is going in? Who was the woman who was with the shooter, and why wouldn't the FBI release that footage? Yet they chose during their 33-hour manhunt that they were also looking for a woman who could have been the accomplice. What happened to this lady?' Owens said.
The tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk has generated two distinct and troubling narratives. The initial shocking footage exposed questions about basic human decency and emergency protocol among his own staff. Subsequent claims by Candace Owens have deepened the mystery, casting doubt on the official investigation.
This dual controversy now demands transparent answers regarding the identity and actions of everyone involved in the conservative figure's final moments.
