Chelsea host Championship club Watford at the Stamford Bridge in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

Where to Watch Live

The kick-off is set for 4pm GMT. Live commentary of the game will be available on BBC Three Countries Radio. Highlights of the game will be available on BBC Match of the Day from 10:50pm.

Overview

Chelsea will be relieved to get a much needed break from the rigours of Premier League football after a hectic festive period, which saw them collect only four points from a possible nine. Their last game ended in a 5-3 loss to Tottenham at White Hart Lane which saw a masterclass from Harry Kane, scoring twice as Jose Mourinho's men succumbed to only their second loss of the season.

A comprehensive win against lower league opposition will be a perfect antidote for Mourinho's men who find themselves level on points and league position with Manchester City.

A loss here will however be fatal to Mourinho's plans over the season, who were favourites to win the league title and also challenge on four fronts. Chelsea have won the FA Cup seven times, but only once under Mourinho, during his first stint at the club.

Meanwhile, Watford will be looking to pull off one of the upsets of the season if they manage to get the better of the London club at Stamford Bridge come Sunday. The Championship club are yet to win the FA Cup in their history and had reached the final once in 1983-84 when they were beaten by Everton.

What Managers Say

Jose Mourinho: "Obviously we are going to rest a couple of players, that's normal. We want to try to beat Watford but, at the same time, we have to analyse the players' condition and make the right decision for them, and give a chance to other people to play."

Slavisa Jokanovic: "I don't have problems with anybody, I didn't arrive at Chelsea at my best moment. All supporters pay their money for their tickets and if they are not happy with some situation, they let it be known in the stadium. This happens at Chelsea, in England, everywhere in the world – but I am happy to be have been part of the Chelsea history. It was good experience for me and I am very happy to have another chance to be in that stadium again."
