Cheryl steps out in oversized coat covering up her stomach amid pregnancy rumours

Cheryl seemed to almost confirm pregnancy rumours as she stepped out in London on Sunday (2 October). The 33-year-old singer, who was heading to France for Paris Fashion Week, seemed concerned with keeping her stomach covered up.

Wearing a loose fitting lilac blouse and a slightly oversized beige coat, Cheryl was seemingly careful to hold the garment across her stomach as she was photographed by waiting paparazzi, reported the Mail Online.

Speculation that Cheryl is expecting her first child with One Direction star Liam Payne has been mounting after the 23-year-old added a message to his Twitter profile which read: "the happiest man in the world."

A recent photograph of Cheryl in the new L'Oreal campaign also shows her looking happy and healthy, prompting fans to suggest that her fuller face is down to being pregnant.

And more recently, a photo posted by her PR team was also cropped from the waist down adding to the rumours. Fans of the Crazy, Stupid Love star took it as confirmation that a baby is on the way after a fan spotted her mother, Joan Callaghan, purchasing a pregnancy pillow at Mothercare.

Cheryl and Liam - who have been dating since February – have not commented on the speculation but were rumoured to have been trying for a baby soon after going public with their romance.

The pair first met in 2008 when Liam was just 14 years old and auditioned for the first time on the show. After failing to get through to the live shows he returned two years later and One Direction was born.

At the time, Cheryl was married to footballer Ashley Cole and after their divorce, she embarked on a whirlwind romance with French entrepreneur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2014. They announced their separation earlier this year amidst a Twitter spat.

While her impending divorce to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has reportedly been stalled due to his reluctance to sign a 'no talk' order, the former X Factor judge is nevertheless moving on with her life and, if the rumours are to be believed, an announcement of a new arrival may happen any time soon.
