American singer Chris Brown reportedly wants to take responsibility of his baby girl.

It was previously reported that the 25-year-old R&B singer allegedly has a nine-month-old baby girl named Royalty with long time friend and former model Nia Amey.

"He's adamant that they raise Royalty together. It's very important to him that he and her have a near perfect relationship because he wants his daughter to be raised properly — with he and Nia," a source told Hollywood Life.

"He knows from experience the hardships and heartache it can be without two parents in the same home and he doesn't want that for Royalty," the insider added.

Adding on, Brown is also planning to move his little girl and Amey with him, in his house.

"He's not sure how it would work, but he's going to make it happen. If there's one thing in his life he's going to take seriously, it's his daughter," another source said.

After reports emerged about the Loyal singer's love child, Karrueche Tran announced her split with Brown by declaring she did not want "baby drama".

Brown started dating Tran amidst his romance with Rihanna. Brown and the model briefly split in October 2012 when he admitted he was "in love with two people".

Last year in August, the Say Goodbye singer shocked fans when he revealed on Instagram that he was ready to have a baby with Tran.

"@karrueche damn near 5 years and this woman still putting up with my shit. Need to have this baby and stop playing! Lol! My WCW," he wrote, along with an image of the model.
