A photo has emerged of Ben Affleck's nanny Christine Ouzounian wearing the Super Bowl rings belonging to NFL player Tom Brady on a private jet en route to Las Vegas. The image has fuelled allegations that the Argo actor has been romantically involved with the woman reportedly hired to care for his three children.

Published by The New York Post's Page Six, the image shows Ouzounian, 28, smiling for the camera and posing with the four Super Bowl signet rings won by Brady, 38, during his time playing for the New England Patriots.

According to the publication, the photo was taken on 27 June when the nanny and Affleck, 42, were on their way to Las Vegas following a holiday in the Bahamas with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their children, daughters Violet and Seraphina and three-year-old son Samuel. The website alleges that the Gone Girl actor had invited Ouzounian to fly with him back to Los Angeles on the private jet but then "convinced" her to join in him in Sin City for a poker tournament.

A source told Hollywood Life of the impromptu trip: "He assured her it was OK. Technically, he was her boss. But along the way, he convinced her to go to Las Vegas with him for a poker tournament. They even stopped and picked up Tom Brady for the trip. While in Vegas, Ben hid Christine the entire time. When they got back to LA, Jen heard about their trip without the kids and flipped out. She fired Christine right away, and Ben did nothing about it."

Brady, believed to be good friends with Affleck, is married to retired supermodel Gisele Bundchen with whom he has three children. Three days after the alleged Vegas trip, Affleck and Garner, 43, announced they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage. The Oscar-winning director has strenuously denied having an affair with Ouzounian during his marriage to Garner, describing the claims as "garbage".
