Coachella romance: Selena Gomez shares first couple selfie with The Weeknd flaunting romance

Music power couple Selena Gomez and The Weeknd arrived at the Coachella music festival on Saturday (15 April) and it seemed like they couldn't keep their hands off each other. The 24-year-old for the first time shared their first couple selfie on Instagram, where the Weeknd can be seen with his hands wrapped around the songstress.

Gomez was sporting the festive spirit in a floral blue top while her boyfriend kept it casual in a colour-coordinated chequered shirt. The stylish pair wore dark shades as they captured a sunny image at the music festival.

The pop diva, who is also known to be a queen of social media, garnered almost three million likes within hours of posting the romantic Coachella picture.

"Finally she posts a picture with him on her insta," an excited fan commented while another wrote, "#CoupleGoals you guys are tooo cute".

Indeed all eyes were on Gomez and the Starboy hitmaker as they made it to the star-studded music festival. From models Kendall Jenner and Sofia Richie to Lady Victoria Hervey – the British socialite who has been involved in the Mel B divorce drama – the star contingent was in full force at the festival.

But for the globe-trotting couple – Gomez and The Weeknd – the Coachella music festival was just yet another addition to their list of exotic destinations. The duo recently travelled to Toronto, Colombia and Argentina as the pop star joined the Party Monster hitmaker on his world tour.

"Selena and The Weeknd were very sweet together and mellow," a source told E! Online about the couple's latest get-together at a Beverly Hills party. "They were sitting together by a fire pit and never left each other's side. He was kissing her forehead and holding her hand."

Despite being spotted by paparazzi kissing and cuddling, the pop couple have mostly avoided discussing their romance. Except a rare PDA picture that The Weeknd shared on his Instagram profile.
