Jurgen Klopp tastes defeat as Liverpool manager for the first time as Crystal Palace inflict their fourth consecutive league win over the Reds. Scott Dann's goal 15 minutes from time proved the difference as Alan Pardew ended a run of four games without a win while calling time on Klopp's Anfield honeymoon.

FULL TIME: Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace

Four minutes of time added on at Anfield.

Coutinho tries to hit back straight away, taking on the shot from the edge of the box but Hennessey is again equal to it and pushes it over the bar.

Palace are doing it again! Having won a corner, all the big lads from the back are up and one of them in Scott Dann darts in at the near post to thump home his side's second at the second time of asking following a decent stop from Mignolet.

Goal! Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace (Scott Dann)

Great save from Mignolet! Jason Puncheon has a crack from 20 yards and a deflection looks to be taking it in but the Belgian is across goal to make a vital intervention.

Changes from both sides now as Emre Can comes off for Roberto Firmino while Connor Wickham has entered the fray for Sako.

It's been a very open few minutes at Anfield with Liverpool countering through Moreno who galloped up the pitch before lifting a cross onto the noggin of Benteke, who was unable to control his header, lifting it over the bar.

Palace are moving the ball around nicely in this second half but are yet to pick their way through the opposition again. Alan Pardew's side are down to 10 men at the minute after Soare, in a valliant attempt to keep the ball in play, slid head first into an advertising board,

Soare is picked out brilliantly by Soare but appeals for a handball when he slams his cross into Clyne. The referee isn't interested however and play continues.

Benteke has a good chance to put his side ahead, taking the ball down well just inside the box but he loses his cool and fires a wild effort well over the bar.

And we are back underway at Anfield.

HALF TIME: Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace

Liverpool are level just before half time! It's a very neat goal from the home side, with Lallana flicking the ball onto Benteke who then moves it on for Coutinho who is arriving in the box to slam home a controlled effort.

Goal! Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace (Philippe Coutinho)

Sakho looks to be some trouble as he limps off with Lovren preparing to come onto replace him. Sakho changes his mind howeveer and says he is okay to continue. What a trooper.

Benteke comes close for Liverpool! The Belgian rises above his marker and powers a firm header on goal, only for Hennessey to deny him with a brilliant reaction save.

Liverpool try to respond with a couple of efforts from range with Ibe first seeing his attempt blocked before Coutinho lifts his into the grateful arms of Hennessey.

Palace lead Liverpool again! Can drifts out wide to deal with Zaha and is unable to deal with the tricky winger who easily jinks past him down the wing. His ball into the box isn't properly cleared and Bolasie is on the scene to rifle home from close range.

Goal! Liverpool 0-1 Crystal Palace (Yannick Bolasie)

Liverpool have grown into this game after that bright start from Palace, controlling the tempo of the game albeit without really creating a clear opening. Coutinho, having found the back of the net twice against Chelsea last week, tries his luck from range again but lashes it wide.

Palace win a string of corners but fail to trouble Liverpool with any of them really, allowing the home side to counter. Ibe is the one driving forward, shifting the ball inside to Lallana whose shot on goal flashes wide.

Palace are the first side to venture first at Anfield with Wilfried Zaha winning a corner for his side but it's horribly overhit, causing no problems for the Liverpool defence.

Not long until kick off now, both teams are on their way out of the tunnel onto the pitch.

TEAM NEWS - Liverpool: Martin Skrtel, Lucas and Philippe Coutinho are expected to return after being given the night off mid-week against Rubin Kazan. Jordan Henderson meanwhile is edging closer to his return from a foot injury but tonight's game in south east London will come to early for him.#

"It's better you don't play midweek, it's an advantage for Crystal Palace, but only if we are not prepared to fight. If we wait for easy game, no chance. If we are waiting for a difficult game then we try to think solutions for these difficulties. We are fit, we are healthy, we are young - not all of us, but the players at least! They all feel good, they all want to play.

TEAM NEWS - Crystal Palace: Palace could have a striker shortage this afternoon with Dwight Gayle facing a late fitness test having struggled with a hamstring problem this week. Marouane Chamakh and Conner Wickham are still not ready to make their returns while Pape Soare is a 50-50 to make his return.

Liverpool had a long trip to Russia on Thursday - we need to put them under pressure on Sunday. We've come up against everyone who is in form - Liverpool, Manchester United, Leicester. We're in that spell of facing teams with their tails up.There's a high press from Liverpool under Klopp. We have to be aware of the threat and try to capitalise on what they're not good at.

Liverpool must be sick of the sight of Crystal Palace. in May 2014, Brendan Rodgers' side travelled to Selhurst Park with the Premier League title within their reach. After leading 3-0, they threw it away, with Palace fighting back and snatching a memorable 3-3 draw that ended those title hopes.

At the beginning of the 2014-15 season Palace would score three again, before they put another three past the Reds in what was Steven Gerrard's final game at Anfield in May earlier this year.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool will be looking to end that hoodoo, however, having secured three straight wins in their last three games. But the German's side will have to be cautious over the pace that this Palace side have in abudance. It's where Alan Pardew's side have looked for their goals too; no Palace striker has found the back of the net this season.
