The Division
Players can now cut ropes to stop other players' attaining loot in the Dark Zone. Ubisoft

Ubisoft has detailed what to expect from The Division's 1.2 update, called the Conflict update, which will launch for free next week to all players on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The bulk of the update is a new Incursion event, the game's second following the horde-like mode's debut in April.

The new Incursion is called Clear Sky and is set in New York City's Columbus Circle, which pits Division agents against members of the Rikers gang for control of an anti-air missile site. Incursions are an end-game activity focused on squad play for up to four players.

Ubisoft Massive's Conflict update also includes a new feature which introduces high-value targets (HVTs) to the world. A HVT officer found at the player's base of operations will offer a list of targets with a description of who they are the recommended gear score for taking them on. A gear-score is an additional levelling system based on weapons and items, introduced in a recent update.

Changes are also coming to the game's player vs player Dark Zone. Ubisoft's blog says: "Agents will now have the option to hijack your loot. This means that a player can run to an extraction rope and cut it, causing all of the loot to fall to the ground."

New gear sets are also included in the update, but weren't detailed in the post. A trailer was released recapping the information, which we've embedded below.
