  • 500MB - £36-a-month
  • 1GB - £41-a-month
  • 3GB - £46-a-month
  • 5GB - £51-a-month
  • 8GB - £56-a-month

Running Windows Phone 8, the Nokia Lumia 820 is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, and there's 8GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card to add more.

EE is only selling the 16GB model for now, although it does come with a microSD card slot so the storage capacity can be increased by up to an extra 64GB.

Note 2

If the Galaxy S3 isn't big enough for you, then EE is also offering the 4G-ready Galaxy Note 2, with its 5.55in display and HD resolution of 720 x 1280.

To make good use of that huge screen, the Note 2 has an S-Pen stylus that can be used to interact with the phone, draw, and write on the screen.

Powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, the Note 2 is (on paper at least) one of the most powerful smartphones on sale today.

EE is offering the 16GB model only, although there is a microSD card slot, so you can increase this by up to 64GB if you have a card that big.

The Note 2 LTE will set you back £179.99 on EE's cheapest £36-a-month contract, £139.99 on the £41-a-month plan, £89.99 on the £46-a-month tariff, £39.99 if you pay £51-a-month and finally £29.99 on the most expensive £56-a-month deal.
